​Breaking barriers


DOTL Foundation

Students in grade 12 are eligible to apply for the DOTL scholarships.  DOTL is  rewarding two students  with a $300 and one $200  scholarship for their extraordinary contributions within their school or community.  Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  1.  Students are required to write an essay between 250-500 words describing the changes that they have created at either
    •  a family;
    • school or;
    •  community level.

  2.  Include the contact information of two  references who have witnessed the applicant’s leadership abilities
    • One from within your school: any faculty member from the school and;
    • Another reference letter from community leaders, mentors, and/or coaches

  3. Provide evidence of enrollment to any post secondary education or training establishment.
